Dr. John Davis, DVM with DogDr. John Davis, our Chief of Staff, originally founded CNY Veterinary Services at Animal Kingdom under the name Animal Kingdom in 1993. He sold the practice in 2003 to pursue large animal medicine, but reacquired and renamed the practice Central New York Veterinary Services at Animal Kingdom in 2010. A native New Yorker, he grew up in Skaneateles and now resides in Cazenovia.

After attending Cornell University for undergraduate studies, Dr. Davis went on to earn a DVM degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. His previous experience includes practicing at Manlius Veterinary Hospital (Manlius, NY) and Lake Country Veterinary Hospital (Marcellus, NY).

At home, Dr. Davis' menagerie includes four dogs, four cats, two horses, and four goats. In his free time, he enjoys walking his dogs, hunting, baseball (New York Yankees), football (New York Giants), and Syracuse University sports.

Dr. Scott Lescalleet, DVMDr. Scott Lescalleet joined CNY Veterinary Services at Animal Kingdom in 2010. He grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, but now lives in Cicero, New York. Dr. Lescalleet completed undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University before pursuing a DVM degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Prior to joining our veterinary team, Dr. Lescalleet practiced at Tara Animal Hospital in Oswego and Central New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (CNY SPCA) in Syracuse. He has a special interest in surgery.

In his spare time, Dr. Lescalleet enjoys spending time with his two dogs, Max and Dexter.

dr richard honeysett dvm 200pxDr. Richard Honeysett previously lived in Canada and now currently resides in Liverpool, NY. He earned his DVM degree from Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph. Prior to joining the CNY Veterinary Services at Animal Kingdom team, Dr. Honeysett practiced in the Syracuse and Buffalo areas. His special interests include dentistry, pathology, nutrition, surgery, microbiology, and internal medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Honeysett enjoys keeping up with his large family. He has nine children and several grandchildren.
