John E. Davis, DVM — Chief of Staff
Dr. John Davis, our Chief of Staff, originally founded CNY Veterinary Services at Animal Kingdom under the name Animal Kingdom in 1993. He sold the practice in 2003 to pursue large animal medicine, but reacquired and renamed the practice Central New York Veterinary Services at Animal Kingdom in 2010. A native New Yorker, he grew up in Skaneateles and now resides in Cazenovia.
After attending Cornell University for undergraduate studies, Dr. Davis went on to earn a DVM degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. His previous experience includes practicing at Manlius Veterinary Hospital (Manlius, NY) and Lake Country Veterinary Hospital (Marcellus, NY).
At home, Dr. Davis' menagerie includes four dogs, four cats, two horses, and four goats. In his free time, he enjoys walking his dogs, hunting, baseball (New York Yankees), football (New York Giants), and Syracuse University sports.
Scott Lescalleet, DVM
Dr. Scott Lescalleet joined CNY Veterinary Services at Animal Kingdom in 2010. He grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, but now lives in Cicero, New York. Dr. Lescalleet completed undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University before pursuing a DVM degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Prior to joining our veterinary team, Dr. Lescalleet practiced at Tara Animal Hospital in Oswego and Central New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (CNY SPCA) in Syracuse. He has a special interest in surgery.
In his spare time, Dr. Lescalleet enjoys spending time with his two dogs, Max and Dexter.
Tessa Green, DVM
Dr. Tessa Green grew up in Skaneateles, New York, where she still lives today. She received an undergraduate degree from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and earned a DVM degree from the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Green’s special interests include exotics, pocket pets, and large animals.
In her spare time, Dr. Green enjoys hiking, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, and baking. She also shares her home with three dogs, one cat, a horse, and three lizards.
Patrick Hennigan, DVM
Dr. Patrick Hennigan grew up and currently resides in Camillus, New York. He received an undergraduate degree from Mount Ida College and earned a DVM degree from the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to joining the CNY Veterinary Services at Animal Kingdom team, Dr. Hennigan practiced at the Lake Country Veterinary Clinic. His special interests include surgery, critical care medicine, anesthesia, and pain management.
Outside of the practice, Dr. Hennigan enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and spending time with his yellow lab named, Halley.
