Dr. Joseph Darrington earned his DVM degree at Iowa State University after attending undergrad at University of Nebraska – Lincoln and South Dakota State University. He previously practiced in Brookings SD, where he grew up, and Auburn NY. He is interested in all creatures great and small and how environmental factors impact health.

Dr. Darrington has one dog and five cats, and when he isn’t at CNY he enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, contemplation, building contraptions. One of his favorite quotes is "Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can." Arthur Ashe 

dr richard honeysett dvm 200pxDr. Richard Honeysett previously lived in Canada and now currently resides in Liverpool, NY. He earned his DVM degree from Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph. Prior to joining the CNY Veterinary Services at Animal Kingdom team, Dr. Honeysett practiced in the Syracuse and Buffalo areas. His special interests include dentistry, pathology, nutrition, surgery, microbiology, and internal medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Honeysett enjoys keeping up with his large family. He has nine children and several grandchildren.

Dr. Scott Lescalleet, DVMDr. Scott Lescalleet joined CNY Veterinary Services at Animal Kingdom in 2010. He grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, but now lives in Cicero, New York. Dr. Lescalleet completed undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University before pursuing a DVM degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Prior to joining our veterinary team, Dr. Lescalleet practiced at Tara Animal Hospital in Oswego and Central New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (CNY SPCA) in Syracuse. He has a special interest in surgery.

In his spare time, Dr. Lescalleet enjoys spending time with his two dogs, Max and Dexter.
